Raj Seth, Managing Director

For almost three decades, Raj Seth has worked with a wide range of companies, from blue-chip global players to hot American and Asian start-ups, in communications, marketing and advertising roles. 


Before founding Ronin Communications in 2014, Raj was Partner at Newgate Communications, and Technology Practice SVP at Fleishman Hillard, where he was appointed as Partner for Asia Pacific as well as the Co-Chair of the firm’s global technology.


Raj’s other career highlights include working in-house for CA Technologies as VP, APAC Communications, and Technology Practice VP, Asia Pacific, at Hill & Knowlton.


As a Hong Kong native, Raj is fluent in Cantonese and he has devoted his career to marketing, communications, and building brands across Asia Pacific.


Raj has won a succession of industry awards and is a well-known commentator on technology and communications topics and trends. In his spare time, he is a collector of vinyl records, especially rare 1960s Jazz LPs.

Scott has experienced several twists and turns in a career spanning over 25 years; 17 on the ground in Asia where he kicked things off in Japan as Ogilvy’s Regional Director on the IBM business based in Tokyo. Then he was the Greater China lead for IBM.


Four years, and five passport extensions later, he was still making that weekly commute from Tokyo to Beijing. Changed cities and teams moving on to Hong Kong to run Motorola, back to Tokyo for Nestle,  Singapore, and back to Beijing and HK to handle Microsoft, Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mobile World Congress (GSMA), Sony-Ericsson, JD Power, CES Asia, and Huawei.


He returned to the US in January 2015 founding The Context Collective, a marketing consultancy developing creative in context with strategy and with data.
